How do I get to the inn from the nearest interchange or station?

[If travelling by car]
From Fukuyama-Higashi Interchange:
1. Get off the interchange and follow National Route 182.
2. Transfer to Prefectural Route 380
3. Transfer to Prefectural Route 22 and head for Tomonoura.
You will arrive in around 35 minutes.

From Fukuyama-Nishi Interchange:
1. Get off the interchange and follow National Route 2.
2. Transfer to Prefectural Route 22 and head for Tomonoura.
You will arrive in around 45 minutes.

[If travelling by bus]
From JR Fukuyama Station:
1. Leave from the south exit
2. Get on a bus bound for Tomonoura or Tomominato.
You will arrive in around 30 minutes.

Our accommodation is spread out through multiple buildings, so each room has a different address. Please come first to the front desk* on the first floor of the Higoya building to check in.

*After checking in at the front desk, we will show you to your room on foot. There are some steep hills on the way to some of the rooms, so please wear comfortable footwear.

Is there any parking available for guests?

Parking is available onsite for inn guests; however, places are limited. If you require a parking space, please get in touch with us in advance.

Parking fee: ¥500 per car per night
Parking times: from 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 a.m. the next morning.
Parking spaces available: 6 spaces (outside).

When are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. until 6 p.m. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m.

Can children also stay?

Yes, children are welcome to stay at our facility. Prices vary depending on age, so please let us know how old your child is when you make your booking. Please see below for children’s prices*.

Preschool: free
Elementary school: 40% off the adult price
Junior high school and above: same as adult price
*Prices do not include meals.

Are pets allowed to stay?

No pets are allowed. We apologise for any inconvenience.

What amenities and facilities are provided in each room?

In each of our rooms, we provide adult-sized room wear* (M or L size), toothbrushes, a makeup pouch (containing makeup cleanser, face wash, toner and lotion), shampoo, conditioner, body soap, a hairdryer, a heater and an air filter. Coffee, tea and water are also provided free of charge.
To reduce the amount of waste and care for the environment, we do not provide large amounts of amenities. Please bring your own if you think you will need extra.
*Unfortunately, we cannot provide children’s room wear, so please bring your own if you require room wear for your child.

Is there a television in each room?

There are no televisions or clocks in our rooms. We aim to provide a stay where you can spend time relaxing and forget the hustle and bustle of daily life. There are books and magazines available in each room and the front desk, so feel free to read them.

Is there a bath in each room?

There is a bath and toilet in each building and room.

Are there any wheelchair-accessible rooms?

Unfortunately, our inn complex is made up of traditional Japanese houses with no wheelchair access. The area has steps and stairs inside and outside of the rooms, so you may be required to walk from the front desk depending on the room you book. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but please be aware of the nature of our rooms when booking.

Are there any smoking rooms?

All of our buildings are no-smoking, including the garden areas. Please be aware that there are also no smoking areas.

Is there a refrigerator in each room?

There is a small, 40-litre refrigerator in each room, but there are no freezers. If you require freezer facilities, please inform the front desk, and we will provide ice and a cooler box.

Is there a restaurant in the inn?

We aim to be an integrated part of the local community at our inn, so there are no restaurants on site. Instead, we recommend that you try some of the local eating spots and experience the unique atmosphere of a Japanese port town.

If you wish to eat in your room, we provide plans that include a bentō lunchbox. Please book a plan that includes meals in your room or let us know when you book.

[Please be aware:]
・If the number of guests exceeds the number of beds in the room, your group may be provided with futons.
・Our inns are reformed traditional houses that take advantage of the tastes and styles of traditional Japanese architecture. However, this means the sound insulation is not as effective as modern materials. Please be considerate of other guests and neighbouring residents at night and early in the morning.
